"There is a sort of traditional dignity to landscapes. They’re photos of the natural world, unsullied by human influence or inclusion. They are a proof that those places still exist. Though it takes some effort to leave the bounds of the home and the city to get to one that is worth recording. I, on the other hand, haven’t left my house for anything but to go to Kroger in the past month. Each photo is generated using NVIDIA’s GauGAN Beta. I have never been to any of these places, as none of them truly exist. Though some may remind you of places you’ve been, or bring you the same peace you find looking at a “real” photo. So it’s a prettier lie than most."
